Eclipse slow changing view [message #36430]

Eclipse is very slow to change view. For example if I click on the
package explorer and then click back on the editor, it takes 15s to be
able to write anything.
I'm using Eclipse M3 on Linux Mandrake 9.0, IBM SDK 1.4, Pentium 3 with
512MB ram.
Any idea why? Or how I could find out why?
