Hi,
I installed JET 0.8.1 on top of a Europa Fall Release J2EE (3.3.1), and
additionally installed the m2t-jet-editor-incubation-0.8.1.zip. I can
see the feature for JET editor with the broken name "%featureName
0.8.0.v20070913-077-7w31181_24" in my Product Configuration, and there
are no related error messages in the log.
Unfortunately, I cannot see the JET editor anywhere in the list of
editors, e.g. when trying to assign it to the file association ".javajet".
I downloaded m2t-jet-editor-incubation-0.9.0M2.zip, and it turned out
that it contains a jar with the same name as the 0.8.1 release. Hoping
that this is just a naming error, I deleted the one from the 0.8.1
download and erased the eclipse configuration (so nothing is cached).
Still I can't get to see the JET editor anywhere.
Is there anything else I could do to make the JET editor work again? I
had it working some time ago with some previous Eclipse release.
Thanks and regards,
Jörg

The identical JAR files is not a problem. We following Eclipse plug-in
version guidelines, which means that plug-in versions should not increase
unless plug-in contents have changed. 0.9M2 does not include any new content
over 0.8.1.
I was able to install and get JET editor working in a 3.3.1 environment.
I'll do another test with the J2EE distribution, and report back.
And, I did notice that the JET editor feature descriptions are missing.

What OS are you using?
