authentication not supported (when accessing Git repository from Overleaf) [message #1872869]

Recently, Overleaf (the online system for collaborative writing of LaTeX articles), has switched to token authentication (https://www.overleaf.com/learn/how-to/Git_integration_authentication_tokens).

When I try to fetch or push from Egit, I always get "authentication not supported" (I have already cleared the security storage cache).

I'm never asked for the token.

I have no problem with the command line where I have to insert the token every time.

Is there some way to access such repositories?
