Hi,
How do I know the requirements of any particular version of GEF? For instance, GEF Classis is at 3.20.0. Which version of Eclipse is required to support this and where would I normally find that information?

I am upgrading from 3.8 and trying to figure out what I need to have for this latest version. Hopefully 3.20.0 is compatible.

Hi,

since a few version we are providing a new GEF Classic version for each Eclipse simultaneous release. This is the version we test with. For example 3.20.0 is part of Eclipse 2024-06. However, AFAIK GEF Classic has very little requirements on the Eclipse Platform so older versions may work as well.

We try to document our changes in our https://github.com/eclipse/gef-classic/blob/master/CHANGELOG.md file. I think the major change that we have is that GEF Classic as the Eclipse Platform now requires Java 17.
