Hi,

we just wanted to jump on the new IDE 2024-06.

Eclipse Wiki says that minimum Java version requirement for 2024-06 is 17:

But on downloading and running the IDE we identified the entry

-Dosgi.requiredJavaVersion=21

Furthermore, the Info shell of the IDE does not work correctly, when launching with Java 17, runs correct when running Java 21.

So, I would like to ask if the entry in the Wiki is wrong or there is a different reason.

That's a really old entry and there is no entry for 4.32/2024-06. No one is maintaining that wiki and it can't be maintained anymore because it's read only. Maybe this page has not popped up for you yet?
