Is Eclipselink4.0.2 compatible with Java17, Eclipse 2023-03 and with javax.persistence-2.2.1 jar?

For javax, use EclipseLink 2.7.x, the latest one (2.7.14) supports SE 21 as well

JDK 17 - yes
javax.persistence-2.2.1 jar - no (move to the Jakarta from 3.0 and higher)
Jakarta Persistence 3.1 - yes

For now, am facing the below issue in my workspace [Pls Refer to attached Screenshot]
So, for this error, am trying to upgrade to Eclipselink.jar from 2.7 to 4.0.1 and for doing this, am also upgrading to jakarta-api.jar 3.1 version from javax.persistence.jar
Kindly suggest am I going in the correct direction. Also please help me understand why do I face the below error
