Jgit creates lot of temporary files at the time of cloning/checkout repositories containing LFS files e.g. jgit_5159703657940382794.buf. This files are not getting deleted automatically. Which creates lot of issues due to increasing size of temp directory.
Is there any properties in JGit, which we need to set to delete these files automatically? Or any other way is present.

This was fixed in https://git.eclipse.org/r/c/jgit/jgit/+/118502.
If you are using JGit v4.11.0.201803080745-r or newer this should not happen.

Hi Mattihas,

I am using 6.5.0.202303070854-r version and still saw the same files in temp location.

Could you please guide me on the same.

Thanks,
Sujoy

Can you provide a small example to reproduce ?
I don't use LFS myself.
