I am having again and again issues updating Eclipse due to some version conflicts caused by Mylyn components.
Also this time - when I tried to upgrade my v2022-03 setup I ran into issues:
"Cannot complete the install because of a conflicting dependency.
Software being installed: Git integration for Eclipse 6.4.0.202211300538-r (org.eclipse.egit.feature.group 6.4.0.202211300538-r)
Software currently installed: Git integration for Eclipse - Task focused interface 6.1.0.202203080745-r (org.eclipse.egit.mylyn.feature.group 6.1.0.202203080745-r)"
I then tried to uninstall "Git integration for Eclipse - Task focused interface" but that only yields an error message:
"Problem determining user request. Profile id: _SELF_, Selection count: 0"
I am getting fed up with Mylyn causing all these issues again and again. How do I completely remove Mylyn from my Eclipse installation? Is there a way to achieve that or will I have to do yet another Eclipse install from scratch?
