Hello! I downloaded Eclipse again to use it with Java 17, and every time I open it, the application logo has a "eclip...pace" on the top left of the logo. Here's a photo.

Is this normal? How do I get rid of it?

In Preferences -> General -> Workspace -> "Show workspace name" can be unchecked. Or the value can be changed to something shorter which is helpful if you actually launch more than one Eclipse and want to distinguish them at a glance.
