Not sure which forum to post this in, so I'll post it here.
I have been running eclipse for a long time with straight java support. I now wish to add PHP support. I have an older Oxygen, but I have no problem upgrading or replacing.

When I go to eclipse it suggests that I "Select" which I want. If i select java and install then come back and select php, will i have 2 installations of eclipse?

How can I have eclipse supporting both, and I choose what I'm doing when I create a project. Do I download a general version and then start figuring out what plugins to add?

What approach is suggested?

thanks

If you mean from inside Eclipse and not the Installer, no, you'll have support for both in the same installation.
