I have been unable to use ECore Tools whilst Sirius 7 is installed within eclipse. The representation editors and the wizard for creating ECore modelling projects are not available.

Originallly, I was finding this problem with Obeo Designer Community Edition 11.7 so I tried Eclipse 2022-09 Modelling.

With Eclipse 2022-09, I found that the ECore Tools were working but when I installed Sirius 7 and restarted, they disappeared.

I am using this with Open JDK 17.0.5 on Pop!_OS 22.04 LTS

Hi,
Which version of Ecore Tools are you using?
Sirius 7.0 moved some internal classes around for increased modularity, but Ecore Tools depended on some of them.
Ecore Tools 3.3 is compatible with Sirius 6.x, but Ecore Tools 3.4 must be used along with Sirius 7.x because of this (https://git.eclipse.org/r/c/ecoretools/org.eclipse.ecoretools/+/185249).

Ecore Tools 3.4 and Sirius 7.0.6 are in the Eclipse 2022-12 Modeling package and work fine together.
Ecore Tools 3.4 can be found at https://download.eclipse.org/justj/?file=ecoretools/updates/releases/3.4.0/2021-06

Hi

Surely a dependency on Sirius that involves a major version change mandates a major version change in Ecore tools too?
