Compatible versions of emf/eclipse/hibernate with Teneo 2.2.3 [message #1855862]

I'm heavily using emf/teneo/hibernate in my project, now I want to upgrade Teneo from 1.0.1 to 2.2.3, but I cannot find any documents about compatible versions of emf/eclipse/hibernate. I checked the commit logs, I saw a commit "2021-06-13 Initial changes for hb 5.5.0 support", looks like it supports hibernate 5.x. Could anyone. share specific versions of emf/eclipse/hibernate that Teneo 2.2.3 supports?

In this doc, https://projects.eclipse.org/projects/modeling.emf.teneo, it only mentions 2.1.0, but Teneo2.1.0 only supports hibernate 4.3.x. Actually Teneo 2.2.3 is available already, just no doc. Anyone knows this, really need your help.

Hi

The most recent Teneo 2.1.0 release is nine years old so it may well have compatibility issues with recent versions of Hibernate.

However the project may not be dead; 100 commits in the last year. I suggest you contact the project leader.

Thanks Ed for your reply. Actually they released 2.2.3, but they didn't update doc for that.

2.2.3 was not released though Eclipse; see https://projects.eclipse.org/projects/modeling.emf.teneo/governance and https://wiki.eclipse.org/Teneo/Hibernate/Download_and_Install

But see https://download.eclipse.org/modeling/emf/teneo/updates/2.2.0/

As you have observed, there appears to life outside Eclipse, so you need to make contact with the outside-Eclipse community.

Hi Ed,
How about 2.2.0? It's available in eclipse download site, does it mean it was released by eclipse? Teneo 2.2.0 works for me also. If we can have supported versions of emf/eclipse/hibernate for Teneo 2.2.0, I will just pick 2.2.0, instead of 2.2.3.
