adding operations to a Class [message #1855222] Sun, 02 October 2022 19:15 Go to next message

Hi,
when I add operations to a Class and use the Properties dialog, the definitions do not appear in the visual representation of the Class on the diagram.

When I use the pallete to define an Operation the operation appears in the Class. (see diagram hostMknod)

I'm confused, seems faster to use the Properties dialog, yet, I can not see what magic 'bit' enables the operations to then appear in the Class definition.

a) is it possible to add a operation via the properties dialog and have it visually appear in the Class diagram?

:) how?

found the answer,

1) right-click on object
2) Filters | Synchronize

The operations in the properties window appear. Unselecting Synchronize and the operations remain visible.

Perhaps this is a bug?

Hi Sam,
no, this is intended behavior.
