Using Sirius table to create element [message #1855061] Mon, 26 September 2022 18:30 Go to next message

Hi there,

I wanted to know if it was possible to create new elements in a table and if so how.
I tried to use the "Create Line Tool" by inserting a sequence of actions similar to what I do in diagrams (begin/change context/create instance/set name) but without success.
I searched as much as I could on the net and in the sirius/obeo designer tutorials but without success.

Thanks for your help.

Hi,

This is certainly possible.
It's difficult to know what's not working in your case without knowing the details, but see the attached example; it works fine for me.

Let's say that in this case it was mainly me who wasn't working:
I hadn't noticed the presence of an icon for creating a new entry in the main toolbar nor the presence of this entry in the contextual menu.
Being used to diagrams, I expected to have such an icon in a table-specific toolbar.

Anyway, thank you for this answer.
