ZEST learning tips or where to start? [message #1855037] Sun, 25 September 2022 06:11 Go to next message

Hi,

I am student and I would like to build Eclipse plugin (I guess using GEF, ZEST) that will show the variables (when debugging) in graph. Once u click the variable in Variables View (in debug mode) it would show the variable in graph. I would like to give the user the choice to set colors for nodes, aply layout, etc.

I was researching, but I am still kind of confused.

Can anyone give some tips, help to start this project?

Thank you very much.

Hello Katka!

As a starting point, you can take a look at the Debug Visualisation Eclipse plug-in.

Hope that helps,
Tamás
