UML Profile to Ecore [message #1854566] Thu, 25 August 2022 14:31 Go to next message

I have created an UML Profile with some stereotypes. Now I want to generate the ecore model code. Therefore I have created a genmodel file. The file was created but I get a lot of errors and the genmodel editor shows me errors, too.

It is possible to create an UML profile with a corresponding genmodel/ecore? When yes, what I'm doing wrong?

Now I create the genmodel and get first errors:

If I chose "process all" in the genmodel wizard, then I get no errors but genmodel editor gets me some.

To create a genmodel directly from an UML profile to generate the model code doesn't work. Select Profile element in UML Editor and open the menu entry "UML Editor -> Convert to -> Ecore Model".

Hi.
This forum is for questions about the Ecore Tools project (https://www.eclipse.org/ecoretools/). You should probably ask in the UML2 forum: https://www.eclipse.org/forums/index.php/f/117/
