I'm trying to get myself a "pocket computer" so I can develop on the go. I'm considering using a Google Pixel 3a XL phone with Ubuntu Touch from UBPorts as the "almost" perfect solution. Nevertheless, I'd like to know if it would be possible to build eclipse from the source by cross-compilation or directly don't the phone.

I think it may be possible because I remember that I got to try the short-lived "Linux on DEX" from Samsung that included a very old version of Eclipse that ran on the phone.

So, if this can be done, how can I know more about compiling eclipse from source?

I want to know this too. I hope someone from the Eclipse Authority would give a proper guideline here.

Eclipse is available for Windows, macos and Linux/GTK on x86_64 and aarch64. Any other platform requires you to port (amongst other things) the graphical layer (SWT).

Is there any tutorial made by you? Thanks.

No, I am not an SWT person. I am primarily focused on CDT.
