[SOLVED] Why a stereotype application breaks when the same profile is re-applied? [message #1852573] Tue, 24 May 2022 09:45 Go to next message

To reproduce:

- create a new model file
- load a profile as a resource from workspace (profile1.jpg)
- add to the model a new owned class with a new owned operation
- apply the loaded profile onto the model
- apply a stereotype to the operation (model1.jpg)

Save and reload the model file, everything is OK.

- in the profile, add a new stereotype and stereotype application
- define the profile and save (profile2.jpg)
- re-apply profile onto the model (model2.jpg)

Save and reload the model file, the stereotype application disappeared, why? What am I making wrong?

Thanks

Hi

Have you specified an URI for your profile?

If you have not, it will automatically generate a new URI each time you define the profile, and your previous applications will not be compatible

Verify that.

hope it helps

I did not! Thank you German Vega, setting a profile URI fixed the problem :)

One has to fill the "profile URI" property like on this image:

index.php/fa/42097/0/
