Access denied while replacing certificates in Amlen WebUI rc1 [message #1852548]

We were using IBM MessageGateway v5 on our project and we came to know Eclipse Amlen will be replacing IBM MessageGateway v5.

We have installed Eclipse Amlen WebUI rc1 on RHEL8 server and while trying to setup SSL certificate via Web UI -> Web UI Settings -> Security Certificate, we are getting below error.

"An error occurred uploading the certificate file. CWLNA5001
Access to /config/webui/libertyCertificate was denied for user admin."

Default Admin user id: admin was used to perform this action.

Could you please let us know how to fix it ?

Hi Karthikeyan,

Were both the WebUI and the Amlen server installed on the same machine?
If not, are both machines RHEL8?

I'll do some investigation (I was recently playing with certs in the WebUI whilst writing this blog post:
https://amlen.org/index.php/2022/02/21/the-long-winded-guide-to-setting-up-amlen-tls/
and it was working fine so I'll try and see if I can see what is different.

Ah - I'd misunderstood, you're changing the cert for the webui, not changing server certs using the webui).

ok ignore the reference to the blog post - there I was changing server certs. Will do some digging.

Hi Jon,
Thanks for checking on this issue. Yes I'm trying to apply the certificate on Web UI only.
Also I have no clue where this location /config/webui/libertyCertificate is available.
