Hello folks,

At my organization we'd like to create a P2 repository with authentication. The clients to that repository would be Eclipse installations (e.g. P2 Director, target platform resolution, ...) and Maven Tycho.

In my experience both Eclipse and Maven Tycho support basic authentication, however that has an added burden of maintaining credentials dedicated for the P2 repository.

Instead it would be desirable to use Single Sign-On (e.g. Google) which is already setup company-wide.

Does anyone know if Eclipse and Maven Tycho support SSO as an authentication mechanism and how that would work roughly? I couldn't find any documentation concerning that.

Thanks,

I'm quite sure that Eclipse does not support this. I'm not sure about Tycho, but I doubt it very much.
