Dear colleagues, dear Ed,

assume an Ecore model DerivedModel that imports a BaseModel.
DerivedModel defines an EClass DerivedClass whose super EClass BaseClass is defined in BaseModel.
At runtime, instances of DerivedClass are created, but only the simplified instances of BaseModel shall be serialized to an XMI resource.
Can that be achieved? If yes, how? Thank you.
