Hello!

We have a model in Papyrus, which contains blocks, subblocks and interconnections between those.

How can an export as .csv or .xml be performed?

The next task for us is an import of this by ANSYS Medini. If you have further hints for us we will appreciate.

Regards, Ralf Janke

Hi

The models are already in XML. CSV is a pretty unsatisfactory representation for models, but there is some support from the Epsilon project.

Hi

What do we have to do exactly if we want to do an export from Papyrus followed by an import by Medini?

What does the statement mean "there is some support from the Epsilon project" ?

If the XML format is not the same, you should to code your XML transformation between XMLs.

Hi

The researchers at York do many interesting things exploiting the flexibility of the Epsilon framework. One of them was to treat CSV as a modeling format. While this demonstrates that it is possible to equate rows and columns to instances and slots, I felt that overall they demonstrated that this was not really very useful.
