Hello (i m a newcomer),
I ve started with Papyrus on Windows and since recently i use it on Linux
Version: 2019-09 (4.13)
Build id: 2019-09-19T13:03:32Z

But since this change, the drag and drop in my class diagrams are less smooth.
Explanations: i cant drop where i want but in what seems to be like the closest cell.
How to get back to a smoother drag and drop?

Sounds like "snap to grid" is activated.

Ok, choose Window -> preferences from the main menu at the top. A new window will open. In the explorer tree on the left side of the new window navigate to Papyrus -> Diagrams. Inside this folder the configuration menus for diagrams are located. Uncheck the snap to grid options for the desired diagram types and check if it helps.

Thank you Carsen for your answer.
I ve followed your advice and uncheck the option 'Snap to grid for new diagrams' (and Apply).
Then i closed all the diagrams and Papyrus, reopened all and checked that 'Snap to grid' is still unchecked.
But finally, i ve still the same drag and drop.

While you are drag and dropping, stay press on the 'Alt' key.

Hello Timo,

To disable the snap to grid you should use the properties vue (tab Rulers and Grid) to edit the model diagram properties.

Indeed, preferences are only used during the creation of a new diagram so it is not working for existing diagrams.
