I made some updates to a file for an Adobe Experience Manager 6.5 project and when I tried to stage the file, Eclipse quit responding. I let it sit for about half an hour to see if it would recover, but it never did, so I closed and reopened it. As soon as I clicked on that file to move it to staging, it quit responding again.
I closed Eclipse and opened to a new workspace in hopes of clearing things out. I saw this mentioned in another discussion. I then closed it again and reopened the original workspace, but it has been stuck on building (Refreshing...) and validating (Sling Content Project Validator starting to validate...) for over an hour now.
Under those two processes, which can be seen in the Progress tab, there's this:
Refreshing Workspace (Blocked: The user operation is waiting for "Building" to complete.)
Refreshing '/pathhere.ui.apps/target/classes/.content.xml
Windows 10
Java 11
Latest version of Eclipse
Apache Maven 3.6.3
When I close Eclipse, I get this:
Java was started but returned exit code = -805306369
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Oracle\Java\javapath\javaw.exe
Any suggestions? After I get it recovered, it will do it again in a week or two.
