1. Do I have to download version specific installer ?
It seem that version specific installer is needed to install correct version of Java.

2. Which is more reliable - using via Eclipse installer or download the Eclipse CDT version directly - without installer?

3. Which download site is official , sponsored and maintained and current stable version by Eclipse foundation ?
