Hi,

I've just updated my installation, using the "Check for updates" feature, from 2020-09 to 2020-12. In the process some weirdness happened such that the latest CDT couldn't be fully installed because the arduino feature was installed.

Uninstalling the arduino feature from the "Installation Details" page got me to the latest CDT stuff, but now I get a popup every time I start Eclipse that says "Eclipse Update" "The installation does not satisfy the requirements list below", when the list shows "org.eclipse.cdt.arduino". I get the options "Install" or "Skip" (with a checkbox to "Remember my decision".

If I press Skip without remember my decision, it goes away but pops up again the next time. However I'm not keen to click on remember my decision; I'd rather just sort out the reason why it's popping up in the first place!

Can anyone help?

Many thanks.
John

I think I may have sorted this. I followed the instructions here - https://www.eclipse.org/forums/index.php?t=msg&th=1079093&goto=1737313&#msg_1737313 - and set the Product Version to 2020-12, then restarted, and it appears to have gone away (so far!).
