Nesting Sirius Projects [message #1834780] Tue, 17 November 2020 12:44

Hi,

I have an editor specified through Sirius. I can create project according my metamodel as defined in ecore. So now I have model A, model B, and model C that I created in my editor. What I want to do is to somehow say that A outputs to B which also outputs to C. How do I create a viewpoint that would allow me to do that? Since A, B, and C are to separate models that share the same metamodel I figured I would be able to say that the root element of my metamodel can be composed with itself. However I can't have containers hold references. Do I need to create another metamodel to specify how A and B can interact with each other? Or can I solve this through the specification project for my editor? Really not sure where to start with this and would love some direction or idea about how Sirius and Ecore can support this functionality.
