Hi,

I am new to Eclipse.
I am making a PHP project. I also have .css files. When I start typing in .css files, I do not find any suggestions coming up.. How can I enable or trigger suggestions in Eclipse PHP for CSS files.

Thanks.

Are you opening your .css file in the CSS Editor?

Yes, but the IDE includes multiple editors to handle your different kinds of files. So when you right click on your .css file and
expand the "Open With..." menu, which option is selected by default and which are you choosing?

Hello all

I have the same problem. When I create a new FX project and write something in the standard file "application.css", the autocompletion does not work for me.
the code is executed correctly, or the style is applied, but autocomplete does not work. can someone help me?

Do you have tools installed for JavaFX? It would have a different CSS editor than the one used by PHP users.

I only have installed the e(fx)clipse tool from the marketplace and also the javafx sdk from internet. do I have to install anything more?
I'm really confused, because the code I write in the css doc will be executed.

I'm not sure. Probably something I ask about in the forum for those tools: https://www.eclipse.org/forums/index.php/f/259/
