I am trying to develop an editor and trying to explore ways to make my containers collapsible. I realized that horizontal and vertical stack are capable of this. However, when I set my container to horizontal stack all of my references no longer show up graphically in the editor, but when I use the vertical one they do. Is there a reason for this or is this a bug? And is there a way to have the references show up when I use horizontal stack for my containers??

I can't really use vertical stack because then it makes the model look unintelligible so I would like to use horizontal stack if at all possible!

Hi,

It's difficult to be sure, but from your description it sounds similar to https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=543946. Could you confirm?

We have a rough idea of the cause and fix, but not the resources at the moment to fix it properly. It's on our radar, but I can't guarantee when a fix will be available.

Hi Pierre,

The link that you sent takes me to a page that says the following: '543946.' is not a valid bug number nor an alias to a bug.

I have discovered that if I move my model around though that vertical stack will only show references vertically and horizontal stack will only show references horizontally. I don't get any error or warning codes about it so I'm not sure how I can confirm if it is the bug that you have listed.
