How to access sirius based model from xtext? [message #1831338] Mon, 17 August 2020 13:05

Hi,
I'm currently working on a project to integrate xtext into an existing sirius based model. I've already read the obeo designer's xtext-sirius integration whitebook, and learned that I can edit a same model with both sirius and xtext at the same time. Both changes made by sirius and xtext would be synchronized to each other actively. The problem now is I cannot find any further details about how can I do this, the current existing tutorials are too brief and cannot give me much help. The biggest problem is that I want to use xtext to edit a sirius based model, but I don't know how to access the current sirius session in xtext project. All tutorials tells me to import ecore metamodel to xtext project, but that does not solve my problem, because I hope to edit a concrete sirius modeling session by xtext instead of a metamodel.

I think I need a more detailed tutorial or a concrete example of integrating sirius and xtext. Any advice helps a lot.

Thanks
Yufei Zhou
