Is there a way to configure a project's BuildPath/Modulepath to include the *.jmod files associated with JavaFX modules used in the project that I am overlooking?

Is the path to the .jmod files omitted on the basis of the logic that these files are not needed for compilation, only for running the program?

As it stands, the only way I know to run a program with modular Java and JavaFX is to add a VM argument referencing these file in the run configuration. It would be nice to be able to select the folder as a configuration option.

Looking forward to also being able to use jlink with javafx. Has support for that been created that I have overlooked? Seems like it could/should be an additional "export" option, along with the .jar options. Is there a project working on implementing that?

This might be a useful resource:

It's also probably better to post on the JDT forum to get help from the Java tools experts:
