I hope I'm posting to the right forum.

I am taking a Java class and I need Java FX. Unfortunately, I tried over and over to get fx to work both on Eclipse and IntelliJ with no success. My instructor pointed me towards this website and this page: That page sent me to this page: I tried downloading and installing the 64bit version, but I got the attached error. I then tried installing the 32bit version (Eclipse Neon) and it installed, but when I got to step 4 on e(fx)clipse was nowhere to be found.

I'm desperate for any help that can get java fx to work on my computer.

I am using javafx by using Maven .

You will need to install Maven:

Create a new Maven project:

In your POM add:

This in turn download the majority of javafx components.
