Do you accept PRs via github https://github.com/eclipse/rap - or is the formal git/gerrit way required?

You are right, Gerrit at https://git.eclipse.org/r/ is required for any kind of contribution to the RAP project. At the moment, we do not have any process to accept PRs via GitHub because the main repository is hosted by eclipse.org.

I know there is kind of a mirror of our source code available at GitHub, but that really is a mirror only.
