eclipse root and ctd [message #1820871] Thu, 30 January 2020 16:32
Eclipse UserFriend
I run eclipse as a normal user and cdt works great.

I run eclipse with this command:
xdg-su -c "eclipse -data /path to workspace"
and eclipse comes up but c++ not listed as an option for a new project. Only Java

I have no clue what to do.

OS: newly installed SUSE Leap15.1

eclipse not in distribution so I got it from software opensuse org/package/eclipse and package home:regataos Community 7.6.9
The forum won't let me put in the real URL where I got eclipse

This did not seem to have an option to install cdt so I got it from https://www.eclipse.org/cdt/downloads.php and package. CDT 9.9.0 for Eclipse 2019-09
