English is NOT my native language, and this error is really confusing me.
How can the "specified directory" be invalid if it is being created ?
Using "normal" ASCII characters.

How can it be "OR ' " read only" for same reason?

BTW I am trying to use "Switch workspace" -> "Other" .
I need some real help, no RTFM, to be able to create NEW workspace , please.

Please do RTFM.
Go find out what makes a valid directory name for your OS.
Some OS's don't like the parent to be compressed.
The 'OR' is saying you may be trying to create a directory under a RO one.

When you post an issue here,
please show what you've actually done.
Not doing so is wasting everyone's time.

Instead of insisting on these "why this error?" posts with no other info,
you could be more self-reliant.
Learn to use a search engine.
It's getting tiresome to be doing it for you.
You could solve this by searching for the error message (or a part of it) .
