Local org.eclipse.cdt.launch.remote plugin doesn't load [message #1816913] Mon, 11 November 2019 13:18
Eclipse UserFriend
I'm trying to modify org.eclipse.cdt.launch.remote because of an ssh timing issue this plugin is having.

I'm using Eclipse IDE for Eclipse Committers Version: 2019-09 R (4.13.0) to build the plugin.

I export it as a Deployable plugin and I get an org.eclipse.cdt.launch.remote_2.5.1.201911111852.jar file.
I then place this into my normal Eclipse installation on the same machine in the plugin folder (Eclipse IDE for C/C++ Developers Version: 2019-09 R (4.13.0)).

Then Eclipse doesnt seem to use my plugin at all (if both old and new plugin are in the plugin folder it just uses the old one ; if I leave just the new one it just doesn't load it).

Also I could not find anything related to this plugin in the logs.
Any idea how to fix this? What other logs I can look at as to why the modified plugin isn't loading?

I tried pretty much everything I could think of.

Thanks,
Cristi
