Problem when trying to run a successfully compiled program from eclipse [message #1816787] Wed, 06 November 2019 16:09
Eclipse UserFriend
I've been using Eclipse for the last several months and it has always worked properly, but today, all of a sudden, something must have gone wrong: after building a project with success, I wasn't able to run it in the IDE, receiving the error message "Program file does not exist".

I did found a solution to this (https://www.eclipse.org/forums/index.php/t/1068098/#msg_num_2 it's also interesting to note that I had a similiar experience to the author of that post: the problem materialized after drag and dropping some files. Is this a common problem? ), and it does work, but only on a project to project basis, meaning that every time that I create a new project I need to go through that same process. Is there a way to fix this problem globally so that eclipse will once again be able to to detect automatically where to look for the executable to run?

Thank you for your help!
