Hi,

I'm using IES 3.5,

I'd like to know if there is a way to be notified when an editor is being
dragged and dropped from one window to another. My purpose is to retain
special information (Figures) that I have overlayed on the diagram based on
some current system state.

However, when I do the drag and drop of an editor from one workbench window
to another, I find that the original editor is first closed, and then a
separate editor is then opened. Having a part listener doesn't really help
here, because I don't know whether the part is closed because the user has
chosen to close it (in which case we should dispose of the extra info
overlayed on the diagram), or if the user has simply moved the part to
another window.

Is there any way to know that a drag/drop is in process?

Thanks,
Adam
