If the target URI for subscription is not reachable , the subscription itself getting deleted.

The notification shall be send to the URI only if up. But why the subscription itself getting deleted ?

We have a listener application which listens to notifications. if that server is not up, again I have to recreate the entire subscription process.

Kindly provide inputs for the above issue.

Just for your information, the subscription is not created if target URI is not reachable.
Moreover, in OM2M the subscription resource appears to be deleted after a determined number of failed notifications.
This does not seem to be defined in oneM2M, if so, this behavior should not be active and is a bug.

Hi,

Subscription gets deleted if the target URI is not reachable. If the system which receives notifications is down , then the deletion of subscription bug shall be corrected. The attribute FailedNotificationsBeforeDeletion checking validation in code shall be corrected to prevent deletion. Please kindly do the needful.
