Cannot set Java Breakpoints [message #1815183]

Folks,

I must have done something wrong.

I have installed 2019-09 for Javascript developers and then installed the JDTs. and buildship. I have then imported the Java and Javascript projects via Existing Gradle projects, into a clean workspace directory.

I have done thins several times before without problems.

This time and I did notice the last time I tried a previous version I cannot set Java breakpoints from with the Java Perspective. The "Toggle Breakpoint" option on the RMB context menu is not present and double clicking the bar on the left hand side of the line numbers in the editor brings up the Add bookmark dialogue.

this must be me, I cannot believe it is otherwise.

Any hints will be appreciated.
