Hello!

I've heard Sirius takes class, activity and sequence diagrams altogether into account when automatically generating code (Java or C#).

Could anybody elaborate a little bit on it?

Thank you for your attention.

Regards,

Clever.

Hi Clever,

Sirius allows you to define your modelers or use those modelers.
Then you will have to use some model to text generators to obtain some code, regarding how you write those generators or how they have been written, they might follow the domain model and some of the graphical representation to navigate a Sirius session and produce some code.

You might take a look to :
M2Doc: http://www.m2doc.org/
Acceleo: https://www.eclipse.org/acceleo/

Regards

Maxime

Thank you for your reply, Maxime!

Acceleo sounds more promising between the two suggestions of yours...However, I'd like to find a tool more, say, practical: I just import UML diagrams in XML/XMI formats (or build them from scratch) and the tool automatically generates Java code, without any intermediate step...

Is it a dream?

Regards,

Clever.
