Current, CDT Standalone Debugger only supports gdb.

Feature request : Please add support lldb support for standard alone debugger, especially for Mac

#1 On Mac, lldb is the default debugger. It's hard/tricky/buggy to use gdb
#2 lldb/llvm is becoming popular. I bet it will replace GNU toolset sooner than later.

In cdtdebugger/cdtdebug.sh, please add an extra parameter, eg -lldb (and related work) to support lldb

Thanks.

This really isn't the place to file enhancement requests.

You want to go to https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/
You'll have to create a login

You file the request as a 'bug' but set the severity code to 'enhancement'.
I'm guessing you will want to set the component to 'cdt-debug'.

This was raised last year so maybe there's already a solution.
