Hello
we have an application initially made using RCP framework then "converted" into RAP a few years ago.
We need to display documents of different types (images, PDF, docx, etc...) and also to provide solutions for converting file formats.

In RCP, there was that class SWT_AWT allowing to have AWT components filled with AWT images on screen.
I read that for some reasons, this would probably never be part of the RAP framework.
For now, we just translate any AWT BufferedImage to a SWT image before displaying it.
But of course, performance-wise, this is not the best option.

So please let me ask (nicely) if the RAP team might consider adding this class and its API in some upcoming version of the framework ?
Thank you.
