Hello
I am trying to switch from epsilon 1.4. to 1.5.1 and Photon eclipse. When I am running build getting follow error :

/Users/arseniy/MyPrj/git/tura5/sirius/plugins/com.tura.metamodel/build.xml:14: Problem: failed to create task or type epsilon.eugenia
Cause: The name is undefined.
Action: Check the spelling.
Action: Check that any custom tasks/types have been declared.
Action: Check that any <presetdef>/<macrodef> declarations have taken place.

I use option "Run in same JRE as workspace"

Thanks

I have fixed problem,
Install GMF tool "http://download.eclipse.org/modeling/gmp/gmf-tooling/updates/releases/"
and then reinstall Epsilon
Probably you need to mention this in documentation

Hi Arseniy,

I've tried with a copy of the Epsilon distribution from [1] and the epsilon.eugenia tasks seems to be working as expected. Could you please try with a clean Epsilon distribution and let me know if the problem persists?

Cheers,
Dimitris

Hi Arseniy,

It looks like we were writing at the same time :) We're mentioning http://download.eclipse.org/modeling/gmp/gmf-tooling/updates/releases/ in the list of dependencies, and the order of installation shouldn't be important. Are you saying that the version of GMF that ships with the pre-bundled distribution needs updating to work with Epsilon 1.5.1?

Cheers,
Dimitris

Hi Dimitris
Actually problem is in a sequence of installation.
1. I have downloaded Eclipse Photon for DSL developers
2. Install Epsilon and Emfatic
3. Import my project and run build.xml and got an error
4 After some playing around decided reinstall Epsilon. During installation I found out Eugenia has not been installed. In second time it shows missing dependency
5 Install GMF ( yes it is listed in you installation page as an optional)
6.Run build and found another issue ( QVTo is missing)
7. Install QVTo
8 run build successfully

I think If I decided to install Eugenia all dependency should be installed automatically if no any license issues

Regards
Arseniy Isakov

OK, thanks for the clarification. I've raised https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=548531.

Cheers,
Dimitris
