Dear Sirius experts,

Is there any possibility to achieve the following?

I would like to have a mechanism to import a diagram (template models or patterns created with the same Sirius tool with the same metamodel/"odesign") into the currently active diagram I am working on (model merge?).

It is also preferable to allow tool-users to define their own template models or patterns for future use.

Is there any example/experiments done in the past? I would appreciate any suggestions you may have.

Thank you very much in advance.
Akira

Hi Akira,

You might look at two different mechanisms which could be similar to your need and which are used in Capella: the patterns and the REC/RPL:
- REC/RPL introduction in a webinar: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I28EhAXe-i8
- EMF Diff/Merge Patterns introduction: https://wiki.eclipse.org/EMF_DiffMerge/Patterns

Regards,

Maxime
