I believe so, but Eclipse is generally not well-tested with Open JDK. Why not use Eclipse 4.12?

Thanks for the quick reply Ed,

I am using the Release package Eclipse IDE 2019-03 R Packages which is latest one in https://www.eclipse.org/downloads/packages/
Should I try with the latest stable 4.12 in the download page https://download.eclipse.org/eclipse/downloads/

Is the 4.12 tested with Open JDK as well

It should be: https://www.eclipse.org/projects/project-plan.php?planurl=http://www.eclipse.org/eclipse/development/plans/eclipse_project_plan_4_12.xml#target_environments

Good link Nitin. Neju, sorry I forgot that 4.12 is the current release, which is actually wrapped up now but won't be available until next week Wednesday.

Thanks for the Reply.

Did eclipse stopped releasing 32 bit version. As I can see 32 bit option until 4.9 and not from 4.10 onward.

Yes, there is no longer support for 32 bit versions for any of the supported platforms.

Will it induce any issues in the migration like technical , re usability, functionality etc. if we change the application to Event Driven pattern as Observer pattern is marked as deprecated from JDK 11 onwards

Thanks
Neju

I don't know what you're specifically referring to with Event Driven versus Observer with respect to the JDK itself. The platform frameworks have not changed such patterns.
