Student profiles are wiped off library computers at end of each week. Public profile is not. I need to be able to force Eclipse program to save to the students' network drives by default each time students open program. It would be beneficial if I could use a wildcard in place of students' folder names.

These could be specified in the eclipse.ini of the shared installation. But I really don't know how the path of the "student profile" relates to the path of the student's "public profile". It the public profile is some hard linked subfolder of the normal profile, then the comment about "@user.home can be followed by additional path segments" might be especially helpful.
