Hello ,

We are developing a RCP appilcation and specifying osgi.configuration.area to
<<User Directroy/Version>>.

Because of Plugin version changes, Application Cache is getting updated with multiple versions.

Though we are using "osgi.clean", "true" while launching the application,Plug-in cache is not getting cleared fully.Do you any other cache location other than
"osgi.configuration.area" .

Can you please suggest on this.
Advance thanks for your support.

So I'm assuming you're using p2 for the installation. p2 will garbage collect plugins eventually. It doesn't GC them right away as people sometimes revert the change. You can force p2 to GC on next restart. Take a look at the p2 FAQ at:

Eclipse Platform committer. Ask me about Eclipse support, training, and consulting.

Thanks for your response.
We are not using eclipse update feature
We'll be releasing multiple versions of Builds frequently,so using same configuration area ,After deleting configuration area directory also , still cache remains.
Do you suggest to run garbage collector for p2 in this case also. Any suggestion on this.

Thanks,
Raghava Rao
