I am trying to add data source for mySQL and for that the driver is not available. To resolve this problem, I found that I need to add new driver definition. I went to "Windows -> Preferences->Data Management-> Connectivity -> Driver Definitions" and clicked on "Add". In Vendor Filter there is only 2 options "All" and "Generic JDBC" .

Please help me understand on how I can get mysql in Vendor Filter.

I have attached the screenshot.

You most likely need to install the Data Tools Platform Enablement for MySQL. Go to Help->Install New Software and search for this feature. Install and restart Eclipse.

Note that you will also need to get the MySQL connector jar and install it on your system.
