I'm using Eclipse 4.7.3a on windows.

Eclipse slowed down quite a bit lately, even I'm doing nothing and running nothing, just watching the resource consumption in windows task manager.
Now I noticed 20% plus CPU usage of Eclipse for 1+ hours even though it's absolutely idle.

Photon and SimRel2018-09 are not options for me, I've tried out those two versions, both hick up on debug mode after a couple hours' use. Oxygen used to be good. Just lately, after I downgraded from SimRel to it.

I do not know what's going on during that 1+ hours CPU usage period, just wondering if there are configuration I can set to disable whatever the background task.
